RLV Dayturn 1.8.2 (202102041855)

Dayturn RLV 1.8.2 for Windows is a maintenance release that updates the copyright information for 2021 and the viewer certificates.

Actually there is a quite a bit more, but most of it is not front facing, but largely bug fixes and optimizations. It is also the first build on the replacement of the development machine that suffered the death by coffee in late December.

Unrelated to the machine itself, I managed to eke out a secret of VMware Fusion (also applicable to Workstation) that effectively have sped up a full compile of the Windows version by a factor of 5.

The focus for the Windows viewer will be to move from building it with Visual Studio 2013, to Visual Studio 2017, something that requires quite a bit of changes to the viewer code. Hence this version might be the last built with VS 2013.

The following changes to Marine Kelley RLV has been added:
  • New RLV commands : @shownearby (courtesy of Chorazin Allen) and @touchattachother:uuid to prevent from touching the attachments of someone in particular.
  • Add @sitground to force the avatar to sit on the ground where it stands. This turns off flying, forces it to stand up from an object if it was sitting on one (only if @unsit is unset).
  • Add @editworld and @editattach to prevent from editing objects rezzed in-world or attachments respectively. Those commands do not accept exceptions
  • Add @sendim:<group_name>=add to add an exception to the @sendim restriction, only for the specified group. Add @sendim:allgroups=add to add an exception to the @sendim restriction for every group.
Add @sendimto:<group_name>=n to prevent from sending IMs specifically to that group.
Add @sendimto:allgroups=n to prevent from sending IMs to any group.
The details can as always be found in the commit log.
