Dayturn 2.6.11 for macOS is a release with a feature update in addition to improvements to reduce cache corruption:

  • Enabled multithreaded OpenGL on this version

  • Backported the feature developed by Beq Janus to display the physics of a mesh when editing it.

    The feature works best in regions with ubOde physics, but will generally also display the physics of a prim in regions with bullet physics, but the convex hull auto generated when a mesh is uploaded without a dedicated physics model is not displayed correct for such regions.

    The feature should be a big help for builders, and will help to better explain why meshes created in bullet physics regions fail in ubOde regions, and how they can be updated to work also there.

  • The feature can be toggled from the Features tab of the Edit floater, or from the Options submenu on the Build menu.

The viewer is signed with an Apple Developer ID, but not notarized.
It has also been tested on both Intel and Apple Silicon hardware. On Apple Silicon, it runs under Rosetta 2 translation.
