I am testing over opensimulator 0.9.0.1 and 0.9.1.0 Dev
Singularity_Alpha_1_8_7_6994_x86_64 (work no problems or errors)
Firestorm 22.214.171.124680 (Firestorm-Releasex64 64bit) (work no problems or errors)
Dayturn 126.96.36.199760 (Release) (RLV version) from Dayturn_RLV_1_4_1_44760_i686_Setup.exe fail with error is not activated RLV
The script is attached
So if I compile the script in a non-RLV viewer the translated message is:
"Your viewer does not have the RLV control enabled. This necklace needs it activated in your viewfinder. I can't go on."
...and with the RLV version of the viewer is says the same. If you put the script in a box on my sandbox, the viewer thinks the box is an animated mesh with a skeleton.
There is a fair chance the RLV version of Dayturn does not recognize items that can look like an animated mesh properly both because it does not have all the very latest RLV code, and I don't know that even the MK RLV viewer will handle this correct.
You cannot really compare the behavior with FS, because FS has RLVa , which is a quite different implementation than the Marine Kelly version that exist both in Kokua and Dayturn + the MK RLV viewer of course. It would be interesting to know if the script works in Kokua and/ or the RLV viewer in SecondLife.
Is a very old collar script.
For test it drop the script in a prim and attach to your avatar. Click it.
I am not using kokua for tests becausey "Kokua viewer project no longer supports OpenSim viewers"
I try to test Dayturn RLV viewer in Second Life but i can not login i dont know why.
Ill try to go by hypergrid to your sandbox.
Thank you very much.
Here is a viewer build I "think" solves most of the RLV issues people have reported. As far as I can see your script now seems to work, and another script I had for testing seemed to work when one avatar wore a RLV relay.
Please test the build and report back how things work now, and if there are other functionality that was broken in the fix.
