Content creators on Macs are most likely familiar with Pixelmator and the follow-on Pixelmator Pro – image editors that are no subscription alternatives to Adobe Photoshop.

Pixelmator Pro version 3.2 added the capability of editing video and apply photo tools, filters, adjustments, layering to the video. This makes Pixelmator Pro a cheap and simple editor for video edits that don't need the full fledged non-linear video editing (NLE) tools such as Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe Premiere.

In addition to multiple video formats, it can also work on GIF and animated PNG. There is also support for video templates.

For a limited time it is $19.99 in the app store (normal $39.99)
