What part of that folder is the grid data? I'd be interested to know if I can replace that (I kept a copy of entire folder) so new version reads it to save reentering the various grids I run. Or won't that work?
It is beta macOS but coincidently as I type all my Macs are downloading the 10.5.2 public release including this one. I'll take your advice and delete everything once it has finished uptaing. Got to love AppCleaner for these situations!
It doesn't even start, it crashes on launch. That said v2.2.2. was turned up to Ultra and max distance and was working great right before I updated so perhaps if I delete the preferences left over from v2.2.2 it might launch? Are the settings I need to zap stored in...
It was fuzzy in 1.4.8. .... but ...Solved it I think. Depth of field was defaulting to on in 1.4.8. this time. Last time in 1.4.8 I had it off (as I always do). 1.4.9. must have defaulted to on and the settings carried over when I downgraded but I spotted why this time. Going back to 1.4.9...
Yes, that is just the same as Apple's scaling set up in system preferences. So it just the UI, the graphics always remain retina or 4K in this case. My Dell PC shows 3680 x 2160 as default in Settings / Display
Well Nvidia's 'special' control dialogue for the GTX 1080 GPU has the ability but I uninstalled it a while back as it was mainly a ruse to sell stuff and it works fine without it. I run GTA V in 4K no problems and 1.4.8 ran. Maybe I should go back to 1.4.8. and make sure it still does.
