At the end of last year my development machine suffered sudden death by coffee, and the repair turned out to be more significant than what it originally looked like. Actually to the extent a new (used) Mac Pro had to be found and ordered. If everything goes well the new machine will be here on Feb 5, ready to plug in the old SSD and memory, and be ready for duty.
The damage to the machine, which was used for both the Mac and Windows version development, was fortunately covered by insurance so the financial loss was less and $200.
