The Dayturn viewer is not developed to log on the SecondLife, but to Opensim based grids and standalone installations.
In a short period in the beginning of 2019 you may be able to log in to SecondLife, but functionality cannot be expected to work as the official SecondLife viewer.
We recommend the Kokua viewer if you want to log on to SecondLife. Dayturn and Kokua originates in the same source and therefore share many common capabilities.
